IM体育官网 celebrated the grand opening of a brand-new campus store, a vibrant spot for students, faculty, and visitors to discover the latest branded gear, essential classroom supplies, and unique items to showcase their Phoenix pride.
鈥淭oday is more than just a ribbon-cutting ceremony 鈥� this is a celebration of our growth, our pride, and the vibrant community we鈥檙e building here at IM体育官网 Poly,鈥� Dr. Devin Stephenson, IM体育官网 Poly鈥檚 president, said during the event on Monday, March 17. 鈥淭his store is about building community; a spot where students and employees can stop in, engage with one another, and share that Phoenix pride we all have.鈥�
The IM体育官网 Poly Campus Store, located on the first floor of Residence Hall 3, offers a wide selection of branded items such as T-shirts, hoodies, polo shirts, hats and drinkware 鈥� all showcasing IM体育官网 Poly鈥檚 distinctive style. In addition, the store stocks essential academic supplies like notebooks, pens, calculators, and binders, as well as convenience items such as snacks, candy, and personal care products.
At about 2,900 square feet, the store features a large retail space and a vending vestibule open 24 hours a day.
Following the ceremony, IM体育官网 Poly students and employees had the chance to explore the new retail outlet, browsing its exclusive merchandise while enjoying complimentary food and exciting giveaways announcing the store鈥檚 arrival.
鈥淚鈥檓 really excited because I haven鈥檛 been able to buy merch because it鈥檚 all online,鈥� said Toby Haynes, a freshman from Tampa majoring in mechanical engineering. 鈥淚 think this new store is really cool, and then I saw the poster that says there鈥檚 new drops every Thursday. That鈥檚 really exciting to be able to get new merch the day it comes out!鈥�
The store hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with extended hours until 4 p.m. on Wednesdays. As the campus store continues to evolve, hours may be adjusted to better serve the University community. Monitor its webpage for updates.
The University鈥檚 will remain the primary source for required textbooks, while also offering a variety of IM体育官网 Poly-branded merchandise.
