In 2023, Tambiara Tobassum graduated from IM体育官网 Poly with a master's degree in electrical engineering and a concentration in cybersecurity.
Originally from Bangladesh in South Asia, Tobassum came to IM体育官网 Poly to further her studies and explore career opportunities not available in her country.
IM体育官网 Poly's small campus environment allowed her to work closely with faculty and industry partners on her thesis research and gain experience as a teaching assistant. These experiences have helped her develop the knowledge needed to pursue her doctorate degree.
"Because of IM体育官网 Poly, I got into every Ph.D. program I applied to," said Tambiara Tobassum.
Tobassum hopes to become a faculty member at an American university where she can teach and continue her research.
