Ronnie Hurtt, Jr. is a business systems analyst at IM体育官网 for information technology service delivery. Prior to joining the University, he spent five years working in learning and development and social services administration at Highlands Lake Center in Lakeland, IM体育官网.
Hurtt began his career in 2001 with a passion for community economic development, education, and a degree in communication. He worked as a loaned executive at the United Way of Central IM体育官网 before a joining the Polk County School Board at Auburndale High School as a college and career specialist in 2003. In those early days, Hurtt said he embraced every opportunity to learn and grow, taking on diverse projects and assignments that spanned into research and studies on stewardship, leadership, management, and teamwork.
Hurtt鈥檚 background also includes six years of teaching and nearly 15 years of experience in higher education administration at Southeastern University in the offices of Academic Affairs, Advising, Registrar, and Institutional Effectiveness.
